Chichi Uchendu, an Abuja resident and entrepreneur, has accused Priceless Hairs America, an online beauty store, of delivering substandard products.

Chichi told FIJ she ordered a certain quality of Donor hair but the store delivered a substandard version of the hair product.

What Chichi ordered from Priceless Hairs America vs what was delivered to her.

The Abuja resident said she made a sum of N489,000 payment for three bundles of Donor hair with brown tips between March 23 and April 5.

Chichi said on Saturday, June 17, the store sent to her a completely different version of what she had ordered.

“She sent me a black synthetic hair as against what I paid for,” Chichi said.

When confronted, Priceless Hairs America told Chichi to make do with what the beauty store delivered as “the two are the same” but have different colours.

Displeased with the beauty store’s excuses, Chichi demanded a refund of her money, but the store took offence and blocked her.

“When I asked her to refund my money totaling N489,000, she blocked me from reaching her again,” Chichi told FIJ. “She put my house address and phone number out to the general public.”

When contacted on Tuesday, Ms Chinyere Aniagbo, the chief officer at the store, directed FIJ to the store’s legal counsel.

Sterling Attorneys, the store’s legal representative, said Chichi got what she ordered.

“My client never supplied a wrong hair to Mrs. Uchendu. What she got was what she ordered,” the legal firm said.

“Priceless Hairs Ltd. will have a wig fair in July at Abuja, and she can bring what was supplied to her and subject it to a wig test so that it can be determined by professionals as to whether it is what she ordered or not.”
