23.09.2021 news JUST IN: Policeman Dies as Motorcyclists Clash With Lagos Task Force

Kazeem Abonde, an officer of the Lagos State Police Command has been killed in a clash between the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation and Special Offences (Enforcement Unit), also known as Lagos Task Force, and commercial motorcyclists around Ajao Estate in the Isolo area of Lagos State.

FIJ gathered that a police van has also been damaged by hoodlums in the area as passersby scuffle.

Adekunle Ajisebutu, the spokesman for Lagos police, told FIJ he was not aware of the incident. He promised to react as soon as he confirmed it.
