28.09.2021 news JUST IN: Gunmen Abduct Air Vice-Marshal Sikiru Smith In Lagos

Gunmen in masks have abducted Air Vice-Marshal Sikiru Smith (rtd.) in the Ajah area of Lagos State.

The Punch reported that the ex-military man and Chairman of Double Wealth Ventures Ltd., a dredging and engineering firm, was supervising work on a site in the Ajah area of Lagos State on Monday when masked gunmen invaded the place, shooting sporadically.

After struggling with his abductors, as revealed in a voice note shared by Corporal Odiji, his driver, Smith was whisked away in a speedboat.

The abductee and Musiliu Smith, a former Inspector-General of Police (IGP) and current Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), are cousins.
