Few hours after students and staff of Government Science College Kagara, Niger State, regained their freedom from armed bandits, a fresh attack has been launched on the community by gunmen.

According to Daily Trust, four persons were killed and seven women were kidnapped in Gidan Adamu, near Yakila, headquarters of Gunna district.

FIJ gathered that the bandits also attacked a village called Gidan Wamban Karaku and abducted seven women, two of whom are nursing mothers.

This attack also came in 24 hours after hundreds of schoolgirls were abducted in a boarding in Zamfara. Reacting to the abduction of the 317 schoolgirls, President Muhammadu Buhari had warned the armed bandits not to entertain any illusion that they are more powerful than the government.
