The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has dragged Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, to court for alleged forgery.
On Tuesday, Fani-Kayode appeared before the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, over his alleged procurement of a fabricated medical report.
FIJ obtained a five-page charge sheet of the case.
The member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) was marched before Justice O.O Abike-Fadipe by EFCC operatives for possible arraignment.

He was accused of procuring documents under false pretence, contrary to the provision of Section 369 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015, according to Case Files.
The EFCC operatives claimed the controversial politician contracted one Dr. Ogiewu Ozeigbe to procure the fake medical report which was issued at the Kubwa General Hospital in Abuja.
He has denied being arrested by the anti-graft agency and facing charges for alleged money laundering.
