The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has suspended Abuja-Kaduna train operations following an attack by some unknown gunmen on Monday.

In an announcement on its Twitter page on Tuesday, NRC said the suspension was due to some “unforeseen circumstances”. It also stated that more information would be given in due course.

It said, “Dear passengers, due to unforeseen circumstances, train operations along the Abuja-Kaduna route has been temporarily suspended. Further communication would be given in due course.”

However, in the early hours of Tuesday, her close associates said she died from gunshot wounds.
