The Ekiti State Police command is set to probe Pastor Nuah Ade Abraham, pastor of Christ High Commission Ministry, Kaduna State, for collecting N310,000 from church members to fly them to heaven.

Sunday Abutu, Ekiti police spokesman, confirmed to FIJ that he earlier addressed pressmen on Wednesday, with the police already inviting Abraham to comment on the allegations.

FIJ earlier reported that Abraham promised his congregants rapture, and asked that they forfeit their normal lives and move with him to Omu-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

A video obtained by FIJ showed where the church members are currently camped and waiting.

Attempts to reach Abraham for comments proved abortive, as he neither responded to calls placed to his line nor text messages sent to him.
