Following the conclusion of its screenings that lasted six days, the Senate has approved 45 of the 48 ministerial nominees forwarded by President Bola Tinubu.

At the last sitting today, the Senate had a rowdy session while screening Festus Keyamo, the immediate former Minister of State for Labour and Employment.

The rowdiness was premised on the former minister’s refusal to explain how the funds allocated to the public works programme introduced by the then government in the heyday of coronavirus pandemic were spent.
