Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been sworn in as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In line with the Constitution of Nigeria, Justice Kayode Ariwoola, the Chief Justice of Nigeria, presided administered the oath of office on Tinubu.
Muhammadu Buhari, the former president; Oluremi Tinubu, the new first lady; and the new president’s family members stood behind him while he took the oath.
