When Ishaqa Usman, a businessman, initially discovered the Tempa App in the first quarter of the year, he saw it as a potential platform to manage his money, but his experience with the app has been far from satisfactory.

Usman told FIJ that he deposited some N600,000 into his Tempa account after he registered with them and every transaction was seamless until April when he attempted to move N500,000 out of the account.

According to him, the app had some issues at a point, but as soon as the developer resolved the issue, he proceeded to withdraw his funds but he just couldn’t.

He said that he contacted Tempa’s support team via email but got no response on every occasion he attempted to lodge his complaint.

“I also reached out to them on WhatsApp, but Tempa did not do anything about my issue. I had to tell them I had issues with depositing into the Providus Bank– linked account that they gave me, and they responded switfly,” Usman told FIJ.

“I have also noticed that whenever I try to transfer to my wallet, it still delivers but I can’t take out my funds. If they had a social media presence, I could have taken a different approach, but I don’t know what to do. Their phone number no longer connects.”

FIJ attempted to seek comments from Tempa regarding this matter by reaching out through the support email listed on its website. Unfortunately, the email bounced back, indicating that the address could not be found. Furthermore, a text message sent to Tempa’s official line also remained unanswered.
