The Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has read 19 names of new ministerial nominees sent to the Senate by President Bola Tinubu.
He announced the names after the screening exercise for the first batch of nominees on Wednesday.
The new list brings the total number of ministerial nominees so far to 47.

The new nominees are Tunji Alausa, Adegboyega Oyetola, Yusuf Tanko Sununu, Atiku Bagudu, Bello Matawalle, Ibrahim Gaidam, Simon Bako Lalong, Lola Ade John, Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, Heineken Lokpobiri, Alkali Ahmed, Zephaniah Jisalo, Uba Maigari, Maryam Shetti, Ahmed Tijani Kwazo, Bosun Tijani, Tahir Mamman, Aliyu Abdullahi and Isiak Salako.
