29.07.2022 Featured Ghana-Based Nigerian Sex Worker Cuts Colleague’s Private Part for Snatching Her Customer

A Nigerian commercial sex worker simply identified as Bella has been arrested by the police in Ghana for inflicting a deep wound on a colleague’s private part.

According to My News Ghana, an online media outlet, Bella, who is popularly referred to as the godmother of all sex workers in Dichemso Plaza, an area in the Kumasi region, had threatened to inflict bodily harm on Ruth, the victim, who is also a Nigerian, if she would not stop chasing her ”biggest customer”.

During the attack, four other accomplices were said to have assisted her in holding the victim’s arms and legs while she cut her in the thigh, face and vagina.

“They accosted her by the roadside and threw her to the ground. Four of them held her by the legs and arms while Bella cut her with the sharp razor. She succeeded in opening deep wounds on her face, thighs and on the vagina,” an eyewitness was quoted to have said.

The eyewitness also described Ruth as a university student from Nigeria, who was brought to Ghana by Bella.

It was when Ruth got to Ghana that Bella introduced her to prostitution so she could raise money pending the period she would return to Nigeria to continue her education.

Bella is presently in police custody, while her other four accomplices remain at large.

Ruth, who is also known as ‘Cherish’, has been discharged from the Manhyia Government Hospital in Kumasi, where she was rushed to after the attack.
