Leke Abejide, a Kogi State African Democratic Congress (ADC) lawmaker representing the Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has promised to secure for Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, no fewer than 891,259 votes in the February 25 presidential election.

Abejide stated this during the inauguration of Asiwaju Confluence Campaign Organisation (ACCO) on Monday in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State, aired live by TVC.

“The structure we are about to commission today is not rented but solely built for Tinubu with the offices to have all critical stakeholders, including Asiwaju himself in case he has anything to do in Lokoja, or Kogi State, as the case may be,” he said.

“There will be branded operation vehicles for offices of the campaign organisation to ease the grassroots mobilisation.”

Abejide added that the campaign organisation was “established in February 2022 for the purpose of establishing support for the emergence of our leader (Tinubu) in the primary and subsequent emergence in the presidential election to hold on Saturday, February 25”.

He continued: “For the past one year, we have been mobilising our resources to do our best to make sure that Tinubu emerges victorious in the presidential election.

“The campaign structure includes three senatorial coordinators, nine federal constituency coordinators, 239 ward coordinators, 3,508 polling unit canvassers, and 174,500 polling unit mobilisers. All these will bring 5 votes each.

“We have searched every nook and cranny of Yagba Federal Constituency and we have proclaimed to the people that he (Tinubu) will be the president whether there is no naira or fuel scarcity.

“We are not buying votes but because of our image, people are willing to follow our directives.”
