A yet-to-be-identified helicopter has crashed in the Ikeja area of Lagos State, causing panic among residents of the area.

The crash took place close to an AP fuel station. Other landmarks close to the scene of the crash are branches of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) and Zenith Bank in Oba Akran, Ikeja.

Emergency rescuers have been drafted to the area. Four persons, including the pilot, were aboard the crashed helicopter.

According to Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu, Lagos Emergency Management Agency spokesperson, all the four persons were rescued alive and conveyed to a hospital for immediate care.
