In the wake of cooking marathons, Adeola Adeyeye, an Ondo-based chef, (also known as Chef Adeola) is attempting to set a new world record of 150 hours.
Chef Adeola began her cooking attempt on June 30 and hopes to hit 150 hours by July 7.

The chef first announced her intention to break the world record on June 22, a few weeks after Damilola Adeparusi, an Ekiti-based chef, completed her 120-hour cooking.
Hilda Baci, a Lagos State-based chef, caught the attention of Nigerians when she began and completed a 100-hour marathon in May, and before she was confirmed as the new Guinness World Record (GWR) holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, Dammy had begun hers.
Adeyeye’s marathon is the latest of a Nigerian marathon series Hilda began in May.
