Kayode Omoloye-Odeniyi has accused Trustfund Pensions Ltd., a pension fund administrator (PFA), of frustrating his efforts to patronise another company.

In a Twitter post on Monday, Kayode strongly voiced how Trustfund is frustrating his efforts to leave despite delivering poor customer service.

“@PenComNig good morning, please I would like to report @trustfundpltd as all Avenue to address this has been exhausted. I want to change my PFA and they simply refused to do that. I have called and visited their office, yet no headway. The service they offer is way below par. And since @PenComNig opened the window of opportunity to transfer, @trustfundpltd has refused vehemently to carry out data capture for customers owing to the fact they are losing customers in droves due to their poor services,” he wrote.

“They claim @PenComNig has asked them not to capture customers anymore. It is difficult for me when I have not retired with @trustfundpltd. I can’t imagine how difficult life would be when I am finally out of service with @trustfundpltd as my PFA. I have sent mail(s) and yet they keep tossing me here and there.

“@PenComNig I have also sent a mail to this effect. Kindly help to rectify. Thanks.

“And for the record, I have endured this toxic relationship with @trustfundpltd for 10 harrowing years. I can’t continue. My mental and retirement health is important to me.”

FIJ’s email and phone calls to Trustfund had not been answered at press time. Meanwhile, the National Pension Commission website says “an employee or contributor has the freedom to move his account, once a year, from one PFA to another without giving any reason(s)”.
