An anomaly has been discovered in the voter register for Ward 3, Polling Unit 85, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.

This was where Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), cast his vote earlier.

Omoria Michael, a prospective voter, was found to have registered twice at the same polling unit.

It was also found out that two separate voter identification numbers were assigned to Omoria.

When FIJ spoke to O. O Nwanni, a Lagos lawyer, to find out if this could be an electronic error, he said it was not.

“There is no way it could have been an electronic error. The essence of BVAS is for every voter to have a unique identification number. The scenario that has just been described is just a clear case of a voter doing what he did for daily bread,” Nwanni said.
