Peoples Gazette also reported vote buying perpetrated by “suspected agents” of the PDP at Polling Unit 05, Ward 05, Salvation Army Grammar School, Osogbo.
“I have voted, and the man (party agent) gave N4,000. I had to search through the ballot paper to locate and thumbprint the PDP logo,” a voter told reporters.
Another report revealed how an APC party agent gave out a ‘pass’ to those who voted for his party. This happened at Ward 03, Ikija 11, PU 002, CAC Primary School, Ifetedo, Ife-South LGA. The voters were directed to a house to redeem N5,000 using the pass.
