Following the fatal stabbing of Prince Walker-Ayeni, a British-Nigerian teenager residing in Manchester, United Kingdom, the metropolitan police have arrested three teenagers believed to be directly involved in the incident.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the teenagers, all aged 16, were charged with murder on April 12. The case was heard for the first time at Manchester Crown Court on the same day.

The court held that the defendants were not required to attend the preliminary hearing, and pleas were not asked to be taken.
Following the proceeding, a plea hearing was scheduled to take place in May, and a potential trial may also take place between October and November.
During the April 12 hearing, the court ordered that the trio be remanded in custody, pending their next appearance.
Walker-Ayeni, 17, was stabbed after an altercation with the three yet-to-be-named teenagers on April 4.

He was said to have first collapsed on the ground after the stab and then died moments later while receiving medical attention. Walker-Ayeni was murdered just a few days before his 18th birthday.
