John Augustine, a Kaduna State resident, has detailed how Azman Air withheld his N75,000 after cancelling his flight six months ago.
Augustine told FIJ that Azman Air cancelled his Kaduna-Lagos flight in April with a promise to return his money.
“On April 6, I booked a Kaduna-Lagos flight with Azman Air. It was a one-way ticket and it cost me N75,000,” Augustine said.
“Before I could fly with the airline, however, it sent me a notification that the flight had been cancelled for operational reasons.

“When I got the news, I immediately contacted Azman Air’s customer care desk and the official I spoke with told me to apply for a refund.”
Augustine said the airline subsequently sent him a refund form to fill via email.
“I quickly filled the refund form and sent it back to the airline on April 17, hoping that I would be sent my money as soon as possible,” said Augustine.

” I am yet to get my money back. It has been well over six months and Azman Air has chosen not to do anything about my refund request.
“Getting through to the airline’s customer care desk has also not been possible. This is October and my N75,000 is still with the airline.”
FIJ sent an email to Azman Air’s customer care desk for comments on the matter on Friday morning, but it had not been responded to at press time.
