Ademola Oladimeji, a Lagos State resident, has been sentenced to life in prison for sexually assaulting his three children.

On Monday, an Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court sentenced Oladimeji to life imprisonment for each of the four charges against him.

A media report revealed that the charges against him, for which he was convicted, bordered on sexual assault by penetration.

Justice Abiola Soladoye, who presided over the court, stated that the evidence of the three children, aged five, seven, and nine, was corroborated by an investigative police officer and their mother.

The judge was partly quoted thus: “The children gave unshaken testimonies on how their father fiddled with their innocence multiple times by inserting his fingers into their vaginas.

“The wife of the defendant, in her testimony, said the children complained of pain in their privates, and she was informed at the Mirabel Medical Centre that the children had been sexually assaulted.”
