Green Africa Airways has made a refund of N156,000 to Yotems Akin, a flight ticket attendant who initiated two bookings on April 9.

This came after FIJ’s story on how Green Africa cancelled flight bookings Akin made on behalf of two passengers travelling to Abuja but refused to make a refund.

Akin confirmed receipt of the money to FIJ on Tuesday, saying, “Green Africa Airways has refunded the money. Thank you very much.”

The flight booked by Akin was cancelled less than 24 hours before departure time in April. He requested for a refund because a reschedule was not possible due to the urgency of the travel, but he got nothing.

Akin said he had continuously reached out to Green Africa Airways for a refund since April.
