Wale Elebu, a show promoter in Ibadan, Oyo State, has paid Deborah Wahab, a graphic designer in Benin Republic, in full.

This came hours after FIJ published a report on Elebu’s refusal to pay Wahab after she designed two promotional flyers for a party held on Friday.

Wahab had told FIJ that Elebu promised to pay her N14,000 for two flyer designs but stopped communicating with her after receiving them.

The designer said she delivered the first flyer on August 13, the same day Elebu gave her the job, and the second one the following day but wasn’t paid until FIJ intervened.

She said she called Elebu several times but he declined her calls and refused to reply to her messages.

“Thanks to FIJ. He has paid me my money. I am so grateful to FIJ. Thank you,” Wahab said.
