“The medical follow-up visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to the United Kingdom earlier scheduled for today, Friday, June 25, 2021, has been postponed,” Adesina said in a statement on Friday afternoon.

“A new date will be announced in due course.”

Adesina had earlier said on Thursday that Buhari would go on the scheduled medical follow-up and be due to return to the country in the second week of July.

Despite Nigerians’ criticism of the President’s medical tourism, Buhari has spent more than 175 days in London on medical leave.
