Ojekunle Oyeteju, an Oyo State-based POS operator, has been credited with his N300,000.

This is coming four days after FIJ reported that the money was stuck between First Bank and Ecobank.

Oyeteju had told FIJ that the money failed to reflect in his Ecobank account after a First Bank customer transferred it on November 10.

While the sender’s bank maintained that the transfer was successful, his own bank said the transaction was still being investigated, even one month after.

Ecobank also told FIJ it was still investigating the matter.

Speaking with FIJ on Tuesday, the POS operator revealed that the N300,000 was returned to the sender’s account on Friday, December 9.

He also noted that the First Bank customer resent the money to him on Thursday evening, and unlike last month, it reflected in his Ecobank account.

“He just sent me the money now. Thank you for your help,” he told FIJ.
