On April 19, FIJ had reported how Ojo got debited for the sum although her order turned out to be unsuccessful on the platform.

After she was debited, the banker had been unable to proceed to Jumia’s checkout portal, making it difficult for her to claim her order from the online shopping platform.

On its part, Jumia did not also render the assistance the customer needed to get recoup her money.
