Olugbade Adegoke, brother of Timothy Adegoke, the MBA student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State, who died under strange circumstances in November, has confirmed to FIJ that the result of the autopsy conducted on Adegoke’s body is out.

Olugbade said despite the release of the autopsy report, and contrary to the rumours already being spread, the content of the report is yet to be made known to the general public by the police.

“It is true that the report is out and, presently, the force headquarters has it. We, as a family, however, are yet to be informed on whether we would be invited to be present at the headquarters for briefings or consultations before it is made public,” Olugbade said.

He also asked Nigerians to disregard what is being circulated in some corners as the content of the result.

“I do not know what the report says yet. It would also be fair if the report is made public to all Nigerians, so everyone gets to see and know the circumstances that surrounded my brother’s death. Above all, we can only presently wait and hope the police announce it as soon as possible,” he said.

Adegoke’s body was discovered near Hilton Hotel and Resort in Ile Ife eight days after he was declared missing.
