The bodies of military officers, including Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru, the Chief of Army Staff, who died in plane that crash landed at the Kaduna Airport on Friday have arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport for interment at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja.
They arrived in a C130 aircraft from Kaduna.
Mohammed Yerima, Army’s director of public relations, had in an invitation to the media, revealed that the burial would hold at the National Mosque and Christian Centre in Abuja by 10am and burial would be at 12:30pm at the National Military Cemetery.

Attahiru was the General Officer Commanding 82 Division, Nigerian Army, before his appointment as the Chief of Army Staff in January to replace Tukur Buratai.
