Tony Garnett, the man who abandoned the mother of his children for a Ukrainian lady refugee in May, has broken up with his new partner following a heated argument.

According to UK Daily Mail, Garnett, 30, claimed he had to part ways with Sofiia Karkadym because of the alarming rate at which she consumed alcohol. He also accused her of once damaging a wall with a knife during an argument and constantly interfering in his relationship with his two daughters.

The split came four months after Garnett abandoned Lorna Garnett, his partner of 10 years and mother of his two daughters, and left home with Karkadym, 22, who had fled to the United Kingdom because of the war in Ukraine.

While speaking with friends, Lorna said she had always known Tony’s decision to leave her for the Ukrainian would end up in a disaster.

She, however, expressed surprise that “it happened so quickly”.

“He has thrown away so much. He can’t see me because of a restraining order and he hasn’t been seeing the children. But it’s hard to feel any sympathy,” Lorna said.

In a separate interview, Tony Garnett, an IT manager, said he was through with the Ukrainian.

“I am 100 percent through with her. We are finished as a couple,” he said.

In May, FIJ reported how the father of two split with his wife, claiming to have ”fallen head over heels in love” with Karkadym.
