The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) announced it had secured the final forfeiture of 20 landed properties valued at over ₦3.007 billion from a top military officer on Monday.
However, the top military officer in question was not named. The EFCC is also yet to publish the report on its official website, despite directing the public to find the story on efcc.gov.ng.

The report was published in a tweet from the official EFCC Twitter handle on Tuesday.
The confiscated landed properties were reportedly controlled through proxies, such as the late General Aminu Maude, and companies like Atlasfield Integrated Services Nigeria Ltd., Marhaba Events Place, Aflac Plastics and Atlasfield Gas Plant Ltd.
FIJ placed several calls to Wilson Uwurajen, EFCC spokesperson, and the organisation’s hotlines, but they were not answered.
