Following the death of well-known musician Ilerioluwa Aloba on Tuesday, netizens have posted several claims of suspects arrested in connection with his death.
Before his death, Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, was once a signee of a record label owned by controversial singer Naira Marley. A disagreement which recorded violent confrontations created a rift between Aloba and Naira Marley.
Aloba chose to leave Marlian Records, Naira Marley’s record label, after accusing Naira Marley of dangerous physical abuse on his person.
Although the cause of his death remains disputed, some people have suspected it might not be unconnected with his troubles at Marlian Records.
A picture emerged on social media on Thursday evening showing Naira Marley and Sam Larry in a relaxed mood inside a room shared on X (formerly Twitter) by a user, @Mrklassiq_, with the caption, “Naira Marley and Sam Larry has [sic] been arrested !! They will be questioned over the viral videos of assault against demised singer Mohbad.”
