Greenfold Farm Projects has again postponed when it would pay N550,000 to Gideon Oriolowo, the visual artist who invested with the company between 2020 and 2021.

FIJ found that the company had promised to pay the money several times but it always ended up reneging on it promises.

For instance, when the company told FIJ that it would give back the remaining N550,000 of the money Oriolowo invested in their agro-business by July 2023 they failed to do so.

Greenfold Farm later told Oriolowo that he would get paid the following month. But, by the time the company paid the visual artist on August 30, he only received N100,000, as earlier reported by FIJ.

According to the visual artist, the company had neither messaged nor called to let him know when to expect the remaining N550,000.

On August 30, FIJ emailed Greenfold Farm to know when this investor’s remaining money would be paid but there was no immediate response from the company.

When the company eventually responded to FIJ’s inquiry on September 2, the response read:

“We received your email concerning Oriolowo capital investment refund.

“We could not meet up with the payment as dates projected however we have commenced the refund which will be completed before ending of the year.”
