Joel Sunday, a 15-year-old boy, suffered severe wounds on Sunday, after Omoyemi Opeyemi, his mistress, cut different parts of his body with a blade for allegedly stealing meat.

In a video posted to Twitter and seen by FIJ, bleeding Joel cries in pain.

“See the woman that did it. Look at her face; she’s running away now. You will go to the [police] station for this,” an eyewitness says in the video, recording the culprit.

Jay, another eyewitness, told FIJ, “The information gathered from the woman and the victim suggested she cut him with blade and knife. The boy has had 10 stitches.

“We have since taken him to the police clinic along Alagbaka Road, Akure, Ondo State. The woman is in police custody at Fanibi police station, Akure.”

An officer at Fanibi police station told FIJ Opeyemi had been arrested and that she committed the crime.
