He said, “I want to publicly appeal to my lord, Justice Ekaette Obot, the Chief Judge of Akwa Ibom State, to release the closed-circuit television (CCTV) recording of the proceedings.
“Let all lawyers in Nigeria see where Inibehe banged the table in court and where he pointed at the honourable court. I am well aware that this recording exists, and I urge my lord to make it available.
“Even if I was the most insolent lawyer in Nigeria, you do not have to scandalise my name and attribute to me a conduct that never took place in court just to justify what is clearly unjustifiable.”
In the record of proceedings recently released by Justice Obot, she accused Effiong of pointing his hands at her and also banging a table while a defamation suit was being heard.
Effiong, in his response, denied the accusations.
