Julius Abure, the national chairman of the Labour Party (LP), has been re-elected for another term of office despite stiff opposition from the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC).

The party held its national convention at Grand Season Hotel, Nnwichi, Nnewi, Anambra State.

“Barr. Julius Abure re-elected and sworn-in as the National Chairman of the Labour Party at the ongoing National convention in line with @NgLabour constitution,” the party tweeted on Wednesday afternoon.
