Somtochukwu Ikemba Brightson Okwuoha, a 26-year-old Nigerian post-graduate student who faced terrorism charges in Scotland, has been sentenced to 40 months in prison.
According to a BBC report, the international energy studies student will be deported after serving his jail term.
FIJ had reported in November that Okwuoha was charged with terrorism threats against Dundee University.
Checks revealed that the postgraduate student had announced that he would become the first black Canadian prime minister on multiple occasions.

Following his arraignment at the Perth Sheriff Court in Scotland in November, he was found guilty of threatening to commit mass murder and using biological weapons.
He was also found guilty of revealing staff details to international authorities and claiming to have planted bombs between December 2021 and June 2022.
Additional findings by FIJ showed that Okwuoha made claims that he had enlisted to work with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
During his trial, witnesses testified that Okwuoha claimed he had a military background and knew how to make bombs and use biological weapons in the form of a virus.
