01.04.2024 Featured Strange Men Shoot Ogun Resident in the Head Outside His Home

Olumide Danisa, an Ogun State resident, was shot dead outside his home in Somefun Ijeun Tuntun, Abeokuta, on Sunday evening.

Danisa was sitting outside his house when two yet-to-be-identified gunmen alighted from a Toyota Corolla vehicle and shot him in the head around 7:15 pm.

According to a post shared on X by the Ogun State Police Command on Monday, the gunmen fled the scene afterwards.

“Following a distress call received by the Ibara Divisional Police Officer, that the community heard gunshots, the DPO raced to the scene and found a corpse later identified as Olumide Danisa Ifeloluwa “Tescom” in the pool of his blood lying lifeless,” the police stated.

“The victim was rushed to the State Hospital Ijaiye, where the duty doctor confirmed him dead. His remains have been evacuated to the hospital’s morgue for autopsy.”

The police said that no arrest had been made since the time of the incident but a preliminary investigation had begun.
