News of Mangbon’s abduction is emerging a few weeks after two ad hoc workers in charge of the distribution of mosquito nets were killed in the same local government area.
John Auta, a resident of Kaura, told reporters that the terrorists stormed the community with sophisticated weapons, shooting sporadically until someone sustained an injury.
Auta complained about how some communities in the area had been under attack from armed assailants. He said that security operatives were not doing enough to rescue the area from repeated attacks.
