An unnamed Ukrainian Lieutenant Colonel in Avdiivka, Donetsk Oblast Province of Ukraine, has reportedly expressed concerns over the possible implications of the ongoing invasion of the country by Russian forces.

This was confirmed in a tweet by Christopher Miller, a correspondent for Buzz Feed News, on Thursday.

”Ukrainian Lieutenant Colonel I’ve gotten to know well in recent months on the frontline in Avdiivka just texted me. ‘Under fire. This is the end…,’” said Miller.
