Joseph Michael, an Abuja-based civil servant, has narrated how Azman Air and the United Bank for Africa (UBA) debited his account N60,759 twice for a one-way ticket.
Michael told FIJ he booked a flight with the airline in November.
“On November 19, I booked a flight from Abuja to Gombe with Azman Air,” he said.

“I was issued one ticket but got two debits, which I blamed on the poor network.
Michael said he contacted the airline for a refund but was directed to the UBA, which they claimed was in possession of the money.
“I reached out to Azman Air for a refund but was told to complain at my bank,” he said.
“When I visited my bank, they said the second debit got to them but was rejected.
“I have been sending emails to both firms but they keep tossing me here and there.
“It is becoming tiring and I just want my refund.”

While Azman Air was yet to give a response to or acknowledge the email from FIJ, the UBA acknowledged receipt of the email but was also yet to give a response at press time.
