The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has imposed disciplinary punishments on at least 19 students, according to a public notice dated April 1.

The students allegedly committed infractions relating to hostel racketeering, examination malpractice and other misconducts.

The list consists of 14 males and five females, all of whom were studying various courses. Their punishments ranged from expulsion to rustication for one academic session or a semester.

“The following students have been expelled from the University. The Vice-Chancellor’s approval of their expulsion/rustication was sequel to the recommendation of the Students’ Disciplinary Committee at its 220th/221st meeting,” the bulletin published on Monday, April 1, read.

The table below contains the names of the offences and penalties imposed on each of the students.
