The Foundation for Investigative Journalism (FIJ) is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Administrative and Human Resource Officer.

Interested individuals are encouraged to read the job description and requirements below before applying.

Key Job Description

  1. Provide administrative support to staff in the best possible way to ease the discharge of their responsibilities;
  2. Act as a point of contact between the organisation and its staff;
  3. Take immediate charge of the company’s administrative; machinery, comprising documents, policies, database;
  4. Handle the organisation’s external relations on all non-editorial matters;
  5. Report to the Admin Lead.

Qualifications

  1. At least two years of direct experience in an administrative or human resource management role;
  2. A tertriary education degree in HR or a related course;
  3. Demonstrated ability to function with limited supervision;
  4. Ability to comfortably work with major Microsoft suites and Google office tools;
  5. Effective writing and communication skills.

Remuneration: Negotiable
