Olatosho Oshoffa, the host shepherd of the international headquarters of the Celestial Church of Christ, has declared that nothing ‘Fisayo Soyombo and his ‘cohorts’ do would scatter his parish.
Olatosho stated this during a prayer of thanksgiving, which he moderated in his church on Sunday afternoon.
He said this in reaction to Soyombo’s investigation which indicted prophets of his church scamming miracle seekers who seek to be free from whatever is ailing them.
Referring to FIJ’s publication. he said, “When the world wanted our backs on the ground, you exalted us.
“When the enemies couldn’t find anything to use against us, you were there for us.”
He further accused FIJ of planning to cause an upheaval in the church with its investigation.
“The enemy wanted to know why we are so happy in Ketu, so they tried to gather and scatter us but while they were gathering you lord were scattering their plans.
“They sat in contempt but you excelled above them. They wrote malicious contents against the church but you didn’t allow it to scatter us.
“They said hurtful things but about us but you prevailed Lord. Thanks to the God of Oshoffa because this was the month they purposed that Ketu branch would be in disarray but as they were planning you were confusing their camp.
Tosho also described the publication as a war against the leadership of the church.
“They were arguing whether I am a Pastor or not. I only sat somewhere reading every of their post. If they need to see the Pastor, they should meet Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, the spiritual Head of the church worldwide.
“Anyone who tries to fight me is warring against Pastor. If they war against Ketu, they are warring against Pastor Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa.”
Meanwhile, in a sermon delivered by Sunday Peter, a wo-leader in the church, he charged members of the church to do better by returning to the tenets of the church.
“Every Celestial member must return to the tenets of the church as laid down by the founder. If you hold any office and then mislead people through this office, your punishment will be greater than other people’s,” he said.
“If you don’t want to read the constitution of the church because you think it is written by people different from the founder, get tapes of the founder and listen to them.
“You need to do this so you’d stop shaming the church contemptuously.”
‘WE’RE AWARE’
A day after FIJ’s publication, the church had responded by issuing a press statement where it admitted it was not ignorant of the ‘ungodly’ practices thriving in it’s church.
“It has come to the notice of the Celestial Church of Christ Task Force Corps of the indiscipline acts being exhibited in our parishes, especially on harvest days and events that ought to be a Holy Service to the Lord,” the statement read in parts.
“All these corrupt practices are becoming rampant of our members and unbecoming of our Shepherds, prophets and prophetesses in the fold.
“However, the CCC Task Force Corps is using this medium to inform the general public to be rest assured, as we are on the frontline of all these cases and we must bring these evil perpetrators to book and to make sure all these shenanigans are flushed out of the Church.
“Also we want to implore all bloggers to always be calm and not to always be in a hurry for result once we are hinted on issues, as we have to take it through investigation process before we conclude or come up with a statement as there are protocols and procedures to follow according to the laws and ethics guiding our job as enforcement team.”
‘NO FORGIVENESS FOR YOU’
Tosho had also stated in a live video that Soyombo would not find forgiveness and he would be punished for exposing the scam ongoing in his church.
“The prophet that prophesied may be futurist. It is the prophet who saw it it. And the person that wrote this story to the public, nobody forced him to come to Cele, much less Ketu. He walked in freely for his own purpose,” he said.
“That means before he came, he came with a mission, and the mission he came with was maybe to destroy the image of the church, which is quite very unfortunate, because anyone who lies against the Holy Spirit, believe me, the holy book says there is no forgiveness.
