Exam Planet Service, an educational company based in Ibadan, has provided a full refund to Oluwafunmito Babatunde, an Ibadan resident, whose money was withheld for months.

Babatunde expressed her gratitude to FIJ, stating that the long-awaited resolution occurred on Monday, 25 days after FIJ initially reported on the company’s failure to return her N115,000 despite their failure to register her for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).

“I am immensely thankful to FIJ for their intervention. I have now received my full refund,” said Babatunde.

FIJ had reported that in November 2022, Babatunde paid N215,000 to Exam Planet Service for GMAT registration.

However, the company neglected their responsibilities and, after much back and forth, refunded N100,000 in February.

Babatunde said that despite her persistent efforts to reach out to the company and demand the outstanding balance, they did not respond until FIJ intervened.

A day after FIJ’s report, the educational firm promptly paid N50,000 and assured her that the remaining amount would be settled within a specified timeframe.

Finally, this Monday, the company fulfilled its promise by paying the outstanding sum of N65,000.
