Simplified Credit has made a refund of N21,242 to Kazeem Ajewole, a Niger State-based jeweller, who contracted their service for a business proposal.

Ajewole told FIJ that the firm made the refund on Sunday after about six weeks.

“FIJ, thanks for your efforts in helping me get justice. I received the refund after six weeks,” Ajewole said.

On December 9, FIJ reported how Ajewole contracted Simplified Credit’s service for a standard business plan which was not delivered.

“On November 30, I paid N21,500 for a standard business plan with the company. I paid N20,000 for the product and N1,500 for VAT,” Ajewole had said.

“After I filled the questionnaire and submitted it, it failed and I kept getting a message that something was wrong.

“I called their customer care lines to file a complaint and also sent them a mail. They promised to look into it and even requested my username and password.”

Ajewole said what lured him into the company’s service was their instant business plan which would have been useful for a meeting with an investor he had planned to meet.

“The bait of their service was their promise of an instant business plan,” he said.

“When we were to meet with the investor, we notified them that if we didn’t get our business plan before 2 pm, which was the time we would be meeting with our investor, we would like a refund.

“They failed to deliver at the said time and wouldn’t also provide a refund.”

When FIJ reached out to the firm, they said they had an understanding with their customer and would communicate with him accordingly.
