About three containers have fallen in different parts of Lagos.
According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), three 40ft containers fell in Ojuelegba, Ikeja and Mile 12 on Friday.
The traffic management agency stated that a 40ft container fell off a trailer on the Ojuelegba bridge in the early hours of the day.

“A 40ft container fell off a trailer on Ojuelegba bridge inward stadium blocking the entire main carriageway now. Diversion in progress thru the Ojuelegba service lanes,” said LASTMA.
Also, a few hours later, the traffic agency stated that one 40ft container fell at General Hospital, Under Bridge, Ikeja; and another in Mile 12.
“Fallen 40 feet container laden truck fell at General hospital, Underbridge, Ikeja. It needs to be offloaded before recovery is done,” LASTMA said.
“A fallen 40ft container at Demurin junction inwards Ile Ile/Mile 12, there is no access through the service lane presently.”

FIJ gathered that there were no casualties from the incidents.
The incidents came weeks after a 20ft container fell and killed about nine people in the same area on January 29.
This was the second time a container fell off the Ojuelegba bridge in two months, and FIJ can confirm that in almost a decade, the bridge has recorded at least one truck or container accident every year.
