28.02.2024 Featured Katsina Man’s Family Kidnapped at Dinner (Video)

A yet-to-be-identified man has stated that every member of his nuclear family was kidnapped just as they were about to have dinner on Monday evening.

Bandits had attacked his community in Wurma, Kurfi Local Government Area of Katsina State, kidnapping about 12 people, mainly children and women.

The attack led to the razing down of a newly built primary health care centre, residential homes, a police outpost and two vehicles.

Jamil Mabai, a tweep, revealed that while the man narrowly escaped being taken captive, his relatives weren’t lucky.

“How can I forget?” The victim asks in a video. “I can never forget this day.”

The bandits attacked around 7 pm, after attacking Lambo, a nearby community, and destroyed several buildings.

They arrived at the community on motorcycles and shot indiscriminately, forcing people to run to safety.
