13.02.2021 EndSARS Watch Task Force Officials to the Rescue as Black Maria Containing Arrested Protesters Breaks Down (Video)

The Police Task Force officers at the Lekki Toll Plaza have crammed a number of #OccupyLekkiTollGate protesters into a faulty Black Maria.

The officers are seen in a video struggling very hard to push the Black Maria containing the protesters.

As the officers push hard to move the vehicle, the protesters are seen shouting on top of their voices.

“Why are they arresting us?” one of them said.

“What have we done? Can’t we fight for the truth? Where are they taking us to? They’re brutalising us.”

FIJ earlier reported how men of the Nigeria Police Force stationed in and around the Lekki Toll Plaza arrested protesters in clusters before the kick-off of the protest.

The #OccupyLekkiTollGate protesters are demonstrating against the decision of the Lagos Judicial Panel of Enquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS-Related Abuses to allow Lekki Concession Company (LCC) repossess the toll gate, having been under the control of the panel since the abortion of the #EndSARS protest on October 20, 2020.
