An aggrieved customer who does not want be named, has accused Sekinat Morenikeji Alabi, an Instagram clothing vendor account name ‘Apparel By Lumen Fashion House’, of refusing to deliver the items she had ordered and paid for since June 7.
While speaking with FIJ, the customer said after Alabi, who refers to herself as ‘The Awoof Boss‘ on her page, failed to deliver the items, she also refused to refund the N10,200 she paid to her.

“Despite making several attempts to get her to pay me my N10,200 back, the vendor is still holding on to it,” the customer said.
“I had ordered some turtleneck tops worth N10,400 including delivery charges on June 7, 2022, with the understanding that they would be delivered in two days, but two months have passed and still no delivery.
“I have reached out to her several times but she only responds whenever she feels like.
“This wasn’t my first time of getting goods from her; that was why I have been patient with her but it seems she no longer cares about giving my money back to me.”

In a WhatsApp conversation (between Alabi and the customer) that was made available to FIJ, the vendor requested that the customer select another item because “she was out of cash and would not be able to make a refund”.
FIJ made several phone calls to Alabi but they were unanswered. SMS and Instagram messages sent to her have also not been responded to at press time.
