14.04.2023 Featured TABLE: Names of 44 Suspected Internet Fraudsters Arrested in Ibadan

The Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested 44 suspected internet fraudsters in Oyo State on Friday.

According to the commission, the 44 suspects were apprehended in the Apete and Bodija areas of Ibadan based on intelligence gathered on their fraudulent cyber activities.

The EFCC announced the arrest on Friday on its Twitter page.

“Items recovered from them include ten exotic cars, two motorcycles, fifty-three (53) mobile phones, four laptops, one JBL speaker and one PS game with two pads, among others,” the EFCC said.

“They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.”
